The new configurations offer two performance solutions for businesses, priced similarly to older and less powerful configurations. Starting at $239/monthly with a $99 setup fee, the Dual Xeon E5410-based configuration, which will be added to the company's Enterprise Series, includes 2GB DDR2-667 RAM, a 250GB HDD, and 4TB of monthly data transfer. The Dual Xeon E5410 processor was initially released by Intel about a month ago.

Versaweb's other new configuration, an Intel Xeon X3220-based model, starts at $149/monthly and also includes 2GB DDR2-667 RAM, a 250GB HDD, and 4TB of monthly data transfer. This configuration will be added to the company's Business Series of dedicated servers.
In offering the new configurations, Versaweb is targeting web hosting providers, small to medium sized businesses, and medium- to high-traffic web sites.
